Satjeet Kaur (Tammy Lee) has been practicing various forms of Hatha yoga since 1991, including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Power, Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga; and she discovered the benefits of the science of Kundalini yoga in the year 2000 through the process of healing her own spinal injuries. She now teaches Kundalini and specializes in yoga for healing chronic illnesses, addictions and prenatal yoga. She also leads workshops and retreats at Soulshine Sanctuary and along the coast of Maine.
Satjeet graduated from Dartmouth College in 1990, and she completed the Yoga Alliance®certified teacher training program for Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® in 2007 at the Baba Siri Chand Ashram in Millis, Massachusetts. She has studied with Shiva Rae, Seane Korn & John Friend, Rodney Yee, Gurumukh Kaur Khalsa, Hari Kaur Khalsa, and Muhkta Kaur Khalsa among many others. Satjeet recently completed an advanced certification in bringing yoga and meditation into health care settings with Shanti Shanti Kaur and she is an active member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
