Since I, Nicole, was very small I have been attracted to the helping professions due to a strong knowing that although human beings are separate physically we are strongly connected. During completion of my Bachelor’s Degree I realized my life’s work would evolve from a career in mental health to someday spearheading the creation of an integrative and holistic wellness practice. It only made sense that the mind/body/spirit could not be separated as it typically has been in our western culture.Becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher I was free to integrate my knowledge of breath work, meditation, and yoga techniques into my counseling to provide a more holistic approach to wellness. AntiGravity® Yoga or aerial yoga is a new exciting and FUN form of fitness with the support of a silky material called the hammock. The hammock is a special material that can hold anywhere from 1/4 of a person’s weight to their entire weight and helps with flexibility by doing some of the work for us as well as giving us the resistance we need to tone the body. Aerial yoga uses moves and poses derived from dance, Pilates, yoga, and calisthenics with the hammock to increase strength and flexibility to tone the body. After completing my 200hr Teacher Training, with YogaWorks, I went on and trained with Sadie Nardini in "Core Strength Vinyasa".
