At Heart of Florida Yoga we create an authentic yoga experience. Every session begins with breath work to start a unionizing effect with the body and mind. We bring movement through warm up as needed for each body type. Asanas are chosen to accommodate the individuals needs. In a group setting we use variations and modifications. Every practice ends in final resting pose. This final pose gives the body and brain time for assimilation of the practice (meditation). Heartwood Retreat Center is a haven of tranquility designed to promote the growth and development of individuals through yoga-oriented self-discovery programs. WE specialize in yoga teacher training for RYT-200, RYT-50 and C-IAYT levels. WE also offer classes, retreats, workshops and other healing modalities.
