Ned teaches with a compassionate heart; helping students understand the preferred alignment while working within what is available to them on any given day. Unless specified Ned's classes are suitable for all levels. Holding asanas for multiple breaths allows beginning students to strengthen their bodies while letting more established yogis explore the nuances of the asanas.

With knowledge of philosophy, psychology, our natural world and current events Ned works a variety of themes into the practice. At Heart of Florida Yoga we create an authentic yoga experience. Every session begins with breath work to start a unionizing effect with the body and mind. We bring movement through warm up as needed for each body type. Asanas are chosen to accommodate the individuals needs. In a group setting we use variations and modifications. Every practice ends in final resting pose. This final pose gives the body and brain time for assimilation of the practice (meditation). Shelli lives by the ideals of Swami Sivananda to: SERVE ALL, TO LOVE ALL, TO MIX WITH ALL, AND TO SEE THE DIVINE IN ALL BEINGS. Shelli's mission is to be a mentor to others by enlightening, empowering, and educating them about the benefits of Hatha and Raja Yoga.

I have owned my own business in two cities, one being Miami and performed with a television celebrity, and have taught in three other state.
